Lindsay + Andrew || Engagement Session

Lindsay and Andrew are a sweet, sweet couple that knew what they wanted when deciding on a location for their e-session. Wanting to take advantage of the beautiful fall foliage, they chose to keep it simple and go to Busse Woods. We thought we’d be limited on where we could shoot, thinking that everything would look the same. We, of course, were wrong! Gorgeous trees, a lovely lake, steps, park benches, and a beautiful field all made for an awesome setting for this hot couple’s e-session. Thanks Lindsay and Andrew for rocking it out!

We can’t wait to see you two on your big day in March!!

Anna & Nate | Anniversary Session

We had the pleasure of meeting Anna and Nate at Amy and Ouddie‘s wedding back in September. They both stood up as bridesmaid and groomsman and got to know us well, as they essentially spent the entire day with us. A couple weeks after the wedding, they contacted us in hopes to do a session for their 3rd wedding anniversary. We LOVED that they wanted to get updated photos of them as a couple, because many married couples don’t! They chose the gorgeous Chicago Botanic Gardens as their backdrop, which was also fun for us, since we’d never been there before. Congratulations Anna and Nate! We wish you many more anniversaries to come!!

Courtney & Kyle || Engagement Session

Nothing beats a beautiful park, with a historic building, a greenhouse, a playground and lots of gorgeous foliage. When Courtney and Kyle suggested we go to Wilder Park in Elmhurst, we had no objections. We had shot there before, but didn’t get a good chance to really explore the grounds, so this time we made sure. What made this even better was that Courtney and Kyle gave us free game to do whatever we wanted!
Us: OoOoh…can we go and play in the playground?
Them: Yeah!
Us: Can you guys hop on the swing?
Them: Sure!
Us: How bout the slide?
Them: Definitely!
Us: Um… can you pretend to slide, but not really slide?
Them: We’ll try?
Yup, they were awesome. =)

Thank you Courtney and Kyle for an awesome e-session! We had a TON of fun and loved getting to know you guys.
