Wednesday, September 29th, 2010So my friend let me borrow his film camera that he had lying around. He gave me some black and white film and I tried it out. Of course I had to try it on my perfect little models, our dogs. The feel of film is just something you can’t get with a dSLR and the photos below show that. I think I will keep playing with film and maybe one day buy my own camera to play with.

Thursday, September 23rd, 2010If you know us well, you know that our dogs are our babies. Sunday was a special day for one of them… it was Benson’s first birthday! He’s been our cuddly, loving, playful pup…but not the easiest to train (or to pose for that matter). Regardless, he deserved a little something special. A cute little doggie cake would suffice. Although his expression didn’t show it in the following photos, he was quite happy when we finally allowed him to eat it, instead of sitting (and probably suffering) in front of it for 15 minutes while trying to get him to look at the camera. Happy 1st birthday Benson. You may not be the smartest dog, but we love you nonetheless. =)
A big shout-out to our other dog Bauer for being such a good little lighting assistant and helping us set up the shot for his baby brother. =)
